Andrew W. Lo is the Charles E. and Susan T. Harris Professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management and a globally recognized expert at the intersection of finance, biotechnology, and healthcare innovation. His work has helped pioneer new funding models for drug development and rare disease therapeutics, bridging capital markets with life sciences to accelerate the delivery of breakthrough medicines.

In addition to his academic leadership at MIT, Lo is a co-founder of several biotechnology and healthcare-focused companies, including BridgeBio Pharma, QLS Advisors, Quantile Health, and Uncommon Cures. He also serves on the boards of leading biotech organizations and companies including BridgeBio Pharma, Roivant Sciences, n-Lorem, and Vesalius, and advises multiple healthcare and biomedical innovation initiatives.
